CaribbeanTales is looking for new literary, artistic, video and audio content!

By CaribbeanTales Staff | Posted: October 28, 2005

caribbeantales.ca is an interactive, audio-visual meeting and recording place, a space to gather our stories on the Internet as a living popular history.

We welcome submissions to our newsletter that reports on exciting news and stories from the Canadian-Caribbean community. Do you have a story to tell? About your family or yourself? Is there something happening in your Caribbean-Canadian community that needs a space to be discussed? Have you met or been inspired by an amazing Caribbean-Canadian artist, poet, writer, athlete or business person and want to write something about it? Do you have a new twist on a Caribbean-Canadian folk tale that speaks to the current generation? Our main interest is in stories that reflect the diverse, dynamic and innovative Caribbean-Canadian communities.

We are looking for video, audio, photographs, creative images, poetry and prose on the following subjects:

    • a Caribbean-Canadian storyteller
    • stories of liberation
    • significant personal history
