chry2.jpgAs we let you know in our last newsletter, CaribbeanTales hit the radio airwaves to share with the listening community the exciting developments of our growing storytelling project, the People's History of the Caribbean.

Covered and Bound, hosted by Jennilyn Fiddler is a bi monthly radio program broadcast from CHRY, York University's campus radio station, and invites authors, playrights and poets to discuss their projects. I was able to sit down for a brief chat with host Jennilyn, where we discussed the importance of story telling and story sharing for Caribbean peoples. If you were able to tune in, you would have heard us discuss the many projects that our compnay has been working on, as well as the continous themes of storytelling, history and oral culture in the Caribbean. I was also asked to share a few things about myself!

If you were not able to hear the show, we have put together a few clips below.

This is an excellent interview Shana. Thank you for your commitment and vision, and for being such an integral part of the birth and development of the vision for this project over the past 3 years. You are a wonderful ambassador for CaribbeanTales. Love Always, Frances-Anne.
