session. His appearance will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday July 15,
2007 at Workman Theatre, 1001 Queen Street West (at Ossington Avenue).
The CaribbeanTales Film Festival will showcase Lil X’s work during a
presentation of short films and music videos, which will highlight
artists both local and international, who call Trinidad “home.” Fans
will then have their chance to speak directly to Lil X as he sits down
for an in-depth Q&A session with Toronto radio personality Rudy
Blair.
Critically acclaimed for his cinematic style and vivid imagination, Lil
X has directed hundreds of music videos and commercials to date. He has

Alicia Keys and P. Diddy, and is the man behind several commercials for
products such as Bud Light Beer, XM Radio and Converse.
Born and raised in Toronto, of Trinidadian parentage, Lil X has always
had a passion for art and music. At the age of 18, Lil X began working
for famed music video director Hype Williams, and quickly became his
protégé. Now, more than 10 years later, Lil X has become one of the
most sought-after video directors in the entertainment industry.
He has won numerous awards for his work, including the Soul Train Music
Awards’ Best R&B/Soul or Rap Music Video for Usher’s Caught Up.
